” Mayberry’s Mythical Appeal “

In the annals of TV History,

we have gone most everywhere,

into space, to desert islands,

but to Mayberry they can’t compare.

There’s a special feeling there,

I really can’t explain,

its warm & so inviting,

joyful moments it contains.

The people who live there,

are almost frozen in time,

in a simpler, sweeter place,

the feeling is sublime.

I am convinced of one thing,

of this I am quite sure,

Mayberry’s Mythical Appeal,

has evermore endured.

So the next time your feeling low,

pop in that DVD,

let Mayberry come to you,

& brighten your TV.
